Recipe Suggestion – Industrial Crispy Batter Mix
Ingredients Required: • Gluten Free Crispy Batter Mix -150 g • Water – 190 ml – 250 ml
Place gluten free crispy batter mix in a large bowl and add the water whilst whisking with a fork or whisk.
Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.
Immerse food in batter
Deep fry in hot oil (approx 180 C) until coating is crisp and golden
Place cooked food on absorbent paper towel.
The amount of water added will determine the thickness of the batter
Water may be replaced with soda water or gluten free beer if desired.
It is recommended to pre-dust before battering with any gluten free flour or starch product; this will assist batter adherence.
